In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park, which is famously known to be the home of the giants (Huge Baobab Trees and Large Herds of Elephants). Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location, where up to 300 elephants can be found, looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Today you will also have chance to do walking safari in the park. Here you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch before heading to your lodge in Karatu.

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at the rim for an out of this world view of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in the local language, 'endless plains'. The park has 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) and for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great wildlife Migration and to over 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and antelops. As for Big Cats and large predators, it's the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and crocodiles.. Smaller animals like foxes, mongoose, honey badgers, jackals, monkeys, baboons, rock hyrax and African hares, together with more than 500 species of birds, also inhabit this park.

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you'll ever witness. It's really one of the most beautiful experiences you could imagine. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we'll proceed to Ngorongoro, this collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation making it the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000ft high walls, making it virtually Noah's ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It's one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where if you are lucky you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife if the greatest in the continent. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach Ngorongoro in time for a sundowner.
There are a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village, visiting Oldupai George, Hiking Olmoti crater, visitng the shifting Sand etc.

On this day, you’ll be picked up from your hotel in Arusha/Moshi and drive on a tarmac road to Boma Ng'ombe. From Boma Ng’ombe, the drive will turn on a gravel road for about 30 minutes later. The road will take you through gorgeous African country side past bush land, dry riverbeds, and baobab and acacia trees among many others. This vast area, which used to be a hunting ground for Europeans during the 1800s, is home to members of many different tribes, peacefully co-existing as neighbors. Although the game has long since migrated, it is still a haven to many animal species, including a variety of birds. When you reach Kikuletwa it will appear as an oasis surrounded by sprawling fig trees, in the middle of this semi arid landscape. You will see crystal clear water bubbling from underground caves, giving the impression that it is boiling, hence the name “Hot springs”. The water is perfectly refreshing and if you brought your bathing suit, this is your time to take a dip and relax in the shade of the trees. Today you will also have a walk to Kikuletwa waterfall which is 3km from the Hotspring. After the waterfall visit, we will start making our way back to Arusha via back gravel roads.
